FAQ

Questions SRE teams ask first.

Does it need access to our cloud accounts or clusters?

No. AI Result Studio never connects to your infrastructure and needs no credentials. You describe what you see, it suggests read-only checks, and you decide what to run.

Which AI model does it use?

Vigil runs on enterprise-grade foundation AI models through a private AI service hosted on AWS. Your prompts and answers are not used to train models.

Do you store our conversations?

Not unless you share one. Messages are sent to the model only to generate an answer, and your chat history stays in your own browser. If you create a share link, a copy of that chat (without attached files) is stored for 30 days or until you stop sharing.

Does it integrate with PagerDuty, Slack or Teams?

Not yet. PagerDuty, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Opsgenie, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Jira and GitHub integrations are on the roadmap. Pick the ones you need when you join the waitlist; we build the most-requested first.

Can I attach log or error files?

Yes. Use the paperclip, drag a file onto the chat, or paste a long log. The file is read on your device, secrets are redacted, and only the relevant lines are sent with that message. Files are never stored.

Can I share a chat with my team?

Yes. Use the share button in the chat to create a read-only link for teammates, or copy the chat as text or Markdown. Links expire after 30 days and you can stop sharing at any time.

What should we not paste in?

Secrets, access keys, tokens, passwords, customer data or personal data. Replace real names and IDs with placeholders. The copilot also rejects messages that look like credentials.

Can it fix incidents on its own?

No, by design. It never executes commands or makes changes. It helps engineers investigate faster; humans review every step and make every decision.

How accurate is it?

It is a strong first pass, not an oracle. Answers are hypotheses to verify with the suggested checks. Always review commands before running them.

What do I get by joining the waitlist?

Early access to team features as they launch, a say in what we build next, and the first look at pricing before general availability.
